I bookmarked this restaurant 2 years ago as one of the places my husband and I should dine for a date night based on reviews I'd read in yelp.
I read reviews so I knew what to expect. Well, none of the reviews failed to mention the restaurant doesn't offer noodles. They serve rice instead of noodles.
Our host (the owner) was very friendly and welcoming!
We were seated quickly. We chose hibachi for dinner. Our chef, Timothy was warm and awesome! We tried the golden sauce as well as the garlic sauce with our entree. I love the garlic sauce! Our chef's wife was our server for the evening. She was attentive, friendly and kept refilling our sodas.
Although our carrots were a little undercooked, overall the food and hospitality was great! -

Truly had a wonderful experience here. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I came solo to order some hibachi chicken to go. It was absolutely delicious. The soup, the veggies, the fried rice, the chicken, all of it. I will definitely be returning as this has been the best hibachi I've had in the Chicagoland area thus far. It is randomly located in a strip mall which threw me off a little, but I'm glad I stuck with it!

We came here tonight for the first time. The service was great, the Hibachi Chef was engaging & provided an excellent show. The food was fresh and tasty. The downfall was the owner & what appeared to be his wife in a full blown screaming match. With children sitting at the next table (9,11 & 15) they found it appropriate to scream obscenities at each other. The female was screaming what the f*** repeatedly while following the male. The male was calling her a b****. This went on for over 5 minutes. It was beyond unprofessional & no way to run a business. When the chef has to apologize for the actions of his boss' there is a huge issue. I hope they learn from this experience and leave the drama at home.

This is our absolute favorite hibachi restaurant! We come for the food. Their steak/filet is trimmed of fat prior to cooking. We get sides of garlic sauce (extra $) & egg sauce (extra $) and mix bits of each with the rice, shrimp, veggies, etc. Fuji's does not serve noodles along with their meals as a lot of others do but we LOvE their fried rice, veggies, shrimp, ginger salad & hubs Loves the spicy sukiyaki-no one makes it like Fugi's. We are def regulars here. Kids love it too! Give it a try!
